Planned reopening of the building
While the building has been closed, we have taken the opportunity to undertake extensive renovation work and it is looking fantastic! Once completed, we believe that it will feel like a brand new "home from home" to come back to!
At the same time as renovating, we have been busy compiling an extensive risk assessment to ensure a safe return to the building. I am pleased to say that our risk assessment has been signed off and we will be opening as a COVID SECURE building very soon.
We anticipate opening for Sunday services from October 2020, once the building work is complete. As you may expect, there will be some changes to the way we have to do things.
We will be communicating further by video and email as to the responsibility we all have to regather safely. In the meantime, just to make you aware of some of the government guidelines that are in place:
All attendees will need to be registered in advance for track and trace purposes
Face coverings are essential
Social distancing measures will be in place with clear one way systems throughout the building
Children and youth need to be registered as well and will be taken by a leader to their designated kid/youth zones within the building for an age specific fun, filled time!
While we may be doing things slightly differently on our return, we are so excited to gather together!
Better days are yet to come!
Hebrews 10:24-25 "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
