Our Values

Our ValuesWe strongly believe our values are an essential foundation to the vision God has given us. Who we are is more important than what we do. Our values are based on the Great Commandment and the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ and our call to pursue Him wholeheartedly.

After His Heart

Before all we do we believe God wants us to passionately pursue Him. Before anything else we want to be a church ‘After the Heart of God.’ Our priority before all we do, is to be a people with a deep longing for Him.

Receiving the Love of God

"We love Him because He first loved us". 1 John 4:19
We need to receive the love of God. Everything we do should be out of the place of knowing that God’s love for us is unconditional, unending and perfect. When we receive the love of God we are able to love God and one another.

The Great Commandments

"You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment." Matthew 22:36-39. We seek by the grace of God first and foremost to truly love the Lord our God. He having loved us and sending His only Son to forgive us of our sin and give us a completely fresh beginning deserves all the love of our heart, mind and body. We seek to do this in fully laying down our lives before Him in worship allowing Him in be fully Lord over every part of our lives.

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another."        John 13:34. By loving each other regardless of background or preference, expressing our unity together in Christ. By loving and serving the community God has put us amongst. To express our unity in Christ with other different expressions of the body of Christ.

The Great Commission

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."       Matthew 28:18-20

To by all means possible reach our world with the good news of Jesus Christ. To be a church that seeks not to merely have attenders but to lead people to become true disciples of Christ. To positively present the gospel message: locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
